Edwin Emerson Rough Rider lantern slides, ca. 1898-1947.

Lantern slides concerning the United States. Army. Volunteer Cavalry, 1st (Rough Riders); images are chiefly of action in Cuba during the Spanish-American War. Includes photographs of Theodore Roosevelt during the campaign in Cuba and his later life and various memorials concerning the war and individuals who served as Rough Riders. Collection also contains Emerson's ten page typescript list of slides, title cards for slides, and other loose papers.
